What is the best way to keep phone numbers in case your cell phone gets lost?

I just want to take precautions. I'm thinking of typing them all on a word document on my computer. Any suggestions?

Not sure if this is relevant or not, but I use T-Mobile.What is the best way to keep phone numbers in case your cell phone gets lost?
Your idea to keep mobile phone contacts on a word document or excel sheet is a good idea. But if you have more number of contacts, then you try synchronize your phone contacts with your PC. This will allow you an option to directly copy your contacts to PC hard disk. And many sites and messenger sort of applications allow you to store your contacts online. Few wireless services providers also have this service to save your contacts on a remote server and can be accessed every time.
